A cafe with a point of difference has opened up in Tokyo.
Visitors to a new cafe in the Japanese capital's Roppongi entertainment district can now cuddle one of the 20 to 30 hedgehogs of different breeds that are kept in glass tanks.
Customers can pay 1,000 yen ($12) on weekdays or 1,300 yen ($15.60) on holidays for an hour of playing with one of the tiny mammals.
Harry — a play on the animal's name in Japanese — is the latest animal-themed cafe to open in the country which also has outlets catering for lovers of cats, rabbits, owls, hawks, snakes and even penguins.
Hedgehogs are not native to Japan but have long been sold in the island nation, where less than 20 per cent of households are estimated to have a pet."All of these hedgehogs are friendly even though some of them might spike you," said Anna Cheung, 11, a visitor from Britain.

TOP.3 This ‘Vampire’ Hedgehog Is Instagram’s Newest Star
Meet Huff, a 3-year-old rescue African Pygmy hedgehog from Utah whose adorable fangs have earned him a following of 12k people on Instagram. Otherwise known as Sir Hodge Huffington the Cricket Slayer, the cutie-pie was adopted by student Carolyn Parker after his previous owner treated him badly.
This is the tiny hedgehog who has taken Instagram by storm because of his 'vampire teeth', with images including Huff 'helping' with baking, 'posing' in a popcorn pot and 'wearing' sunglasses.
“A lot of people in Utah struggle with seasonal depression-including myself,” Parker told Bored Panda. “I started the account because I wanted to share something that made me happy with other people. Huff comes off as being grumpy and “huffy” but is really lovable and cuddly on the inside. I think that’s why there is such a large fan base for hedgehogs…because a lot of people can relate.”
